June 15, 2011The New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) Awards Oracle PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 Ugrade to CherryRoad Technologies Inc.
Morris Plains, NJ (June 2011) CherryRoad Technologies Inc., an Oracle Platinum Partner, has been selected through a competitive RFP, as the implementation partner of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) for their upcoming Oracle PeopleSoft Financial Systems (FMS) upgrade from version 8.8 to 9.1. The initiative will also include a Best Practice process review across the FMS.
CherryRoad is a long-term implementation partner of the NJTA. Previous project engagements have included a platform migration of the Authority’s PeopleSoft Financials application suite from the existing HP/Oracle 10g environment to a new IBM/Oracle 11g environment, an extension of the capabilities of the Authority’s PeopleSoft Treasury module as well as the previous implementation of Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and Financial Management Systems. Concurrent with the original implementation, NJTA combined the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway operations.
About the New Jersey Turnpike Authority
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) administers the state’s two busiest toll roads, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The 148-mile Turnpike runs north-south from New York City to Delaware and is an essential link in the transportation network of the Northeast U.S. The Turnpike has 28 interchanges and 366 toll lanes. The Garden State Parkway is the most heavily traveled toll road in the U.S. It ranks consistently as one of the safest roadways in the nation, and has received national recognition for its beautifully landscaped and well-maintained roadside environment. The 173-mile Parkway runs through 50 municipalities in ten counties, and its 234 toll lanes include 115 E-ZPass lanes.
