PARSIPPANY, NJ - June 9, 2003 …CherryRoad Technologies, a full-service systems integrator, today announced that it is performing a financial and human resources system implementation for Niagara County, located in the northwest corner of New York State.
Under the terms of the competitively awarded contract, CherryRoad Technologies is implementing Niagara County's upgrade to PeopleSoft 8 Financial Management solution and Human Resources Management. These pure Internet applications will enable the county to streamline commitment accounting in relation to position control and improve the efficiency of its benefits administration process.
"We were faced with some aggressive deadlines and needed to partner with a company that we could be confident about getting the job done on time," said Larry Helwig, director of Niagara County Data Processing. "CherryRoad's strong track record of delivering on-time, on-budget solutions-along with their extensive experience in implementing and upgrading PeopleSoft® software for public sector customers-made them the prime candidate for the job," he added.

Niagara County is located in the northwest corner of New York State. Agriculture and tourism are key industries. The manufacturing sector is still a key source of employment as well, with Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems being the county's number one employer at 4,500 employees. Niagara County is home to the world famous "Niagara Falls," an attraction that helps generate more than eight million visitors annually. Nearly 220,000 people call Niagara County home according to the 2000 Census.
