CHERRYROAD GT AWARDED SUBCONTRACT TO PROVIDE DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT FOR MILITARY-WIDE PERSONNEL AND PAY SYSTEM

PARSIPPANY, NJ - May 19, 2004 …CherryRoad Technologies, a full-service systems integrator, today announced that its government division—CherryRoad GT—was awarded a subcontract by Northrop Grumman Information Technology (IT) to provide development and support for the Defense Integrated Military Human Resources System (DIMHRS).

DIMHRS—a personnel and pay system for all active and reserve military branches of the Department of Defense—will ultimately be the world’s largest Human Resources system and involve one of the biggest enterprise resource planning (ERP) software implementations. Northrop Grumman IT won the $281 million contract to develop the system in September 2003.

Under the subcontract, CherryRoad GT has been tasked with helping map government requirements to the ERP software, providing support to the program management office, and assisting with development of the software architecture. CherryRoad GT is performing the work in New Orleans, La.

Prior to winning the subcontract, CherryRoad GT had partnered with Northrop Grumman IT on phase one of the DIMHRS program, which involved developing system specifications, risk reduction plans, architectural designs and a plan for the actual system implementation.

“It’s a privilege to be a member of Northrop Grumman IT’s team as it takes on one of the largest and most technically complex ERP implementations ever conducted,” said Tom Ferrando, president and chief operating officer of CherryRoad Technologies. “Our more than 20 years of enterprise software implementation experience, and our longtime collaboration with the U.S. Army on the Army Knowledge Online portal and other initiatives, position us to successfully contribute to this team effort,” he added.

DIMHRS ultimately will serve 3.1 million active, reserve and National Guard service members from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force. It will provide remote, self-service access to personnel and pay information, thus improving delivery services. It also will help enhance mission support and readiness, solve operational problems and conserve resources . The first service to use DIMHRS will be the Army, followed shortly thereafter by the Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force, with full deployment anticipated by late 2006.
